About API For Work

API For Work is a collection of practical utilities for developers, API owners, technical teams and people learning how APIs behave.

What we build

The site focuses on focused tools that solve one API task quickly: testing endpoints, inspecting TLS, reviewing CORS, decoding JWTs, validating OpenAPI documents, checking response timing and examining common security signals.

The goal is not to pretend that one automated result can replace engineering judgment or a professional security assessment. Each utility explains the scope of what it observes and where manual review is still necessary.

Privacy-conscious utilities

Some utilities, including the JWT Decoder and OpenAPI tools, perform their main processing directly in the browser. Server-side endpoint tools use controlled outbound requests and block local, private and reserved network destinations.

Free access

The current API For Work toolset is available without requiring an account. The site may be supported through advertising and voluntary support links.
